I couldn’t be more impressed with Wayen WP-600 Semi-Matte Soundproof & Fire Retardant Water-Based Paint—it’s a game-changer for my urban homestay business, delivering exceptional acoustic performance, fire safety and eco-friendliness all in one! As a homestay owner, noise reduction and fire compliance were top priorities, and this paint exceeds every expectation. The sound insulation is outstanding: its porous sound absorption and damping vibration isolation dual mechanism blocks mid-high frequency street noise and cuts low-frequency footsteps/vibrations drastically. Applying a 2mm dry film (per guidelines) boosted my wall sound insulation by 4dB, eliminating echo and making rooms incredibly quiet—my guests constantly praise the peace and quiet! The B1 grade fire retardancy, from inorganic fillers, adds critical safety for my commercial space and simplifies building inspections, a huge plus for any hospitality business.

As someone who maintains a backyard deck, fence, and garden furniture, I’ve tested countless sealers, but none match its performance. Application is a breeze: the smooth, clear liquid glides on evenly with a brush, no clumping. Unlike harsh oil-based alternatives, it has zero strong chemical odors—true to its “net odor” and eco-friendly claims, making it safe to use without a mask, even in enclosed spaces.
