I couldn’t be more impressed with Wayen WP-600 Semi-Matte Soundproof & Fire Retardant Water-Based Paint—it’s a game-changer for my urban homestay business, delivering exceptional acoustic performance, fire safety and eco-friendliness all in one! As a homestay owner, noise reduction and fire compliance were top priorities, and this paint exceeds every expectation. The sound insulation is outstanding: its porous sound absorption and damping vibration isolation dual mechanism blocks mid-high frequency street noise and cuts low-frequency footsteps/vibrations drastically. Applying a 2mm dry film (per guidelines) boosted my wall sound insulation by 4dB, eliminating echo and making rooms incredibly quiet—my guests constantly praise the peace and quiet! As someone who maintains a backyard deck, fence, and garden furniture, I’ve tested countless sealers, but none match its performance. Application is a breeze: the smooth, clear liquid glides on evenly with a brush, no clumping. Unlike harsh oil-based alternatives, it has zero strong chemical odors—true to its “net odor” and eco-friendly claims, making it safe to use without a mask, even in enclosed spaces. Its deep penetration technology is a game-changer. Instead of just coating the surface, the acrylic copolymer formula soaks into wood fibers, sealing pores from the inside out.
